There's not much going on in the boards today, so I thought I'd post this.

I just got this in the mail today at work...

I'm going to check it out when I get home, but inside there were registration cards. On the registration cards there is a spot for two different test scores and a place for a service manager to sign off on. The interesting thing is that there is a box to check if you are applying to be a "service consultant". I'm not entirely sure what all that entails, but it sounds like I can take the tests (one on the cd-rom and one online), go up to Mazda, school thier technicians for an hour or two on the s*** they don't know, and maybe the service manager will sign me off. The purpose of me to do this would be that I would likely be able to approve of my own waranty work, or anyone elses for that matter. The dealership I got my car from is trying to hose my waranty and I've been fighting it legally, but I've recently heard of a dealership across town that is appearantly cool with light mods. They're the ones I'd be going to to get signed off on, so it might actually work out. If so, anyone local could bring me thier car if they have problems and I could help them get it fixed w/o losing thier waranty. At the very least, I'd be able to advise people of how to get it fixed while keeping the waranty, like a service. I'll let everyone know what's on the cd-rom after I go through it.
