So just installed midpipe on my shorty downpipe, and at almost immediately afterwards at idle, white smoke. So is it my turbo or oil or what? Other mods are mscai and stage 2. Any ideas?

Well sometimes there's oil in new exhaust pipes.

If its still there after about 100 miles I would say that the Cat was burning up the smoke from the turbo and that's why you are seeing it now.

I hope its just that. Its not crazy crazy smoke, just a lot more then nothing. I tried to upload a clip but it won't let me.

Yep, that is what happened after I installed my su test pipe. I still have the stock dp and I looked inside the tp before install and they sprayed a chemical in there and I smoked after install. Didn't go away for a couple hundred miles for me

phew, well thats comforting, I have the corksport shorty dp and now the corksport midpipe. Well I'll keep you guys posted. luckily I have a long drive ahead of me, so hopefully that will burn most of the stuff off.

So question, this is the first car I have modified exhaust on. I know with deleting the cat Im looking at more emissions. So I just want to make sure that the increase in fumes that I'm smelling is do to the dp and midpipe, and not a leak. I can smell it when from just sitting in the car sometimes.

Its not an exhaust leak. It will smell like that. If you dont like it..run 100 octane
