Who! Me and Matt?? Both him, me and my gf are getting tint on our 3's next month I believe. He's way more ahead of me on mods. I'm more on the light and conservative level right now. Trying to save for my house hehe.

After the three of you get your tint (are you doing a group buy on tint) you can have a celebretory door molding pull off. Those CWP's look absolutely beautiful with the full unbroken lines on the doors.

Yeah, sometimes if you refer people they'll cut everyone a deal, even if it's done at different times.

I dont know but were going to try to find a place that will. I think Mike has a couple places in mind, I havent done tints before so I really dont know much about what to look for.

Sweet. Both my cars need some tint. Nothing too extreme though. I drive at night a lot. But dark cars with dark interiors are hot in the summertime.

Yeah i'll let you know, theres two places I have in mind. I have personally gotten tint on my last car with this place in Troy, they did a really clean job. Unfortunately, they don't use the same film so I don't know how good it is anymore. The second place, my buddy knows real well and I wasn't impressed because there was a gap around the entire window frame that wasn't tinted. But yeah, i'll let them know.

I kinda like my side moldings to be honest. I like the clean look on MS3's but the moldings breaks up the blah-section a little, puts something there, and atleast blocks assholes from denting your door.

Line your car up with any random car, that door molding protects nothing. Personal preference, thats cool!
Go to a reputable place that has warrantys and that you dont have to drive 30 miles to get to. You can use the dealerships guy, or call Kip Shewerd Motor Sports on 10 mile and Novi rd, find out who he uses. Or auto one, they warranty them and do good work.

I talked with Auto One in Wixom, they wanted $250 for tints and $45 for a lifetime warranty... I fill up at the BP right across the street from them every Friday so many I should stop in sometime.

man, go in and tell them you have 3 maybe 4 cars that will all come in the same day or within a few days and you want a deal. 200 - 225 a car, 5 windows (not counting the little ones) and the warranty. If they dont do it let me know, I will find you a place.

Dont even let them talk, you tell them what you want! lie and say a couple places have agreed (just write down a couple places out of the phone book in case they ask who) but tell them you heard their guy was really good adn that is who you want. If they dont do it, call another auto one!

See, i'm sorta picky though. I can't just have any ol window tint. I research the brand's reputation, and I also only apply metalized titanium tint (increase UV ray protection and nice cool interior temperatures!).

But I agree, i'm gonna talk to Notorious Tintz in livonia. I know the owner, wanna see what he'll do for me.

Not really..

$265 at Sunshade Tint in Troy. I had them work on my first car and it cost me $315.

I don't see much reason in tossing $200 just to have my windows black (or normally a nasty green hue) if they arn't also going to prevent the leather from fading from direct sunlight.
