Metra kit sucks?

Is it me or does the kit have a lot to be desired when it comes to holding the radio in tight?

It works and fills in the space, but I don't like that the kit is held in only in the front. I tried using the back screw in support for my new radio, but it would not go in all the way.

I was thinking of just making my own, in a single din size.

i have the metra kit too! oh wait.. mine was stolen along with my HU.. NM..

I have the metra kit also. There's a little gap so I filled with folded business card to stop from rattling. There is a kit form Best' s # BKMA1537B and Scoche has one also #ma1537. I haven't got one yet because the shop that does my work deals with metra but you can them online.
