Hey does anyone know where/how to buy their rear motor mount. Their website appears to be down due to domain name expiration??? I hope they get it back but until then??

nevermind

after searching I guess I have determined that those mounts sucked and that they are out of business.

Yes I have seen that one but just worried about the dreded NVH and most reviews about the TRZ indicate it has the worst NVH. I am going with the Engalls ETD and thought I'd go with a softer rear mount.

Thoughts?

Once my TRZ broke in, which didn't take long, I only really notice vibrations if the engine is under load and spinning at less than 2000 rpms. Other than that it feels almost exactly like it did before. You might notice some very light vibrations if you drive really hard, but I don't think it really matters if you feel some more vibes when you're flooring it through the gears.

Thanks, A very subjective thing for sure but good info to have. I am just trying to get as much traction in this FWD car that I can without turning my DD into a race car.

Well then the TRZ is a very good way to do that. I was sold on the mount because of it's construction: 4130 steel. It's an incredibly durable and strong material that won't galvanic-ly corrode like an aluminum mount will.

Medieval was a ****** crooked ass company who screwed people outta big bucks then took off. Their $1000 manifolds had leaks bends and uneven mating surfaces. So thats why that douche bag went into hiding

Thanks for the replies guys!

I does seem hard to get parts for these cars sometimes, I guess because they are still relatively new not like a Subie, so some bad vendors are going to crop up from time to time. Very sorry to hear about the bad experiences. I'm sure Mr. evil will get his in the end.

hey guys! i have a question regarding my timing belt.. i just rebuilt the head and put it back on,know iam trying to install the timing belt. i lined up the camshafts timing and as well as the crankshaft. replaced the tensioner, but for some reason everytime i try to slip on the beltt the stupid crankshaft moves on me.do i need to do something with the tensioner and the spring or what? oh by the way i have a 2003 mazdaspeed protege.2.0 turbo.. any advise will be greatly appreciated...thx in advance

please see the PM I sent you, and direct your question to the Mazdaspeed Protege Powertrain section. I recommend running a search, as i believe there is a complete how-to outlining the timing belt installation on a the FSDE.

We've got a good set of inserts in 85 Shore A durometer that are almost entirely NVH free and make a really substantial difference for $35. 10 minutes to install once you're under the car.

thanks for the reply and info however I am already running the "epoxy" mod in my stock mount and I think the rubber is torn away from the sides a little so I will have to completely replace it.
