I recently picked up the Medieval rear motor mount to my GF's Speed 3.

My roomate and I tackled it today. It was very straight forward and took about 10 minutes from start to finish. Vibrations are next to nothing. Feels like stock at idle, but holds the TQ very well. For $109 it was a steal.
Only complaint would be that the bolt was very tight going in the mount.

You haven't heard of Anti-Vibration molecules?

It's a mixture of Boron & Sulfur (B2S1), or so I'm told... (silly)

Any one have any other input on these mounts? Sounds like they are well received in the protege world. For those interested, there is currently a GB going on at another forum. Price seems quite reasonable at $85.

anything is better than stock. hell, when i filled in the stock mount the difference was minor but still there.

Gotta be better than my street unit mount. vibrations got so harsh after 2 months, my DVD nav system (factory) started skipping while at idle with the AC on. I had to remove and sell it.

The Medieval ebay auction hints that the street unit mount, the only other 2 piece mount like theirs, is Chinese made. Does Street Unit not fabricate their products in their shop?

Sorry for going off topic.

The Medieval name is growing stronger and stronger and we are reconized as having one of the highest quality mounts on the market. We test our products extensively to ensure comfort and longivity. Our motor mounts use a custom made bushing and NOT a cheap energy suspension bushing. Our mount uses an 65 durameter hot poor urethane. This new material holds like a 100 durameter, but contains anti vibration molecules that keep 85% of the harmonics in the bushing (less cabin vibrations). We are the only one on the market using this material in our motor mounts.

Just hit 4000 miles today and the mount feels GREAT!
It took about a week and the vibrations are gone. Highly recommend it.
