mbc in the cabin through the firewall

i just got an mbc and map clamp and have considered getting the actual unit through the firewall to mount on the inside.
that's a bunch of vacuum line running in and out of the firewall, but has anyone done this?

i wouldnt cause you or a friend might be tempted to crank it up one night and then BOOM!! you should dial it in once and then leave it alone. plus some of them make noises u can hear when boost comes on, it will get anoying fast. how do i know all this..... because ive done it LOL.

read up on MBC's. even the installation's should have told you to keep the line as short as possible to not suffer boost spike's. running that long of line isnt the greatest idea, and performance will suffer.

if anything, do a dual stage MBC on a switch. that way you can adjust on the fly to a preset higher setting, but not have the long line, and suffer negative effects that can shorten the life of your turbo quite a bit.
