So I really don't feel like reading through 30 pages but occasionally I can smell my clutch after driving even if I didn't slip the clutch once or drive hard at all... Could this error be responsible?
I'm used to the clutch now so I don't really feel like going in to getting it fixed but I definetly feel that the clutch release is uneven (so much so that I know have issues driving other standards now that I'm used to this) and all my friends agree, is it worth it?
If I just got an aftermarket clutch once the warranty runs up would that fix my problem or could be more complex?
it depends on what your car's VIN falls under.... there are 2 types of clutch TSB.... there is a type A and a type B.... they cover different parts. The type A is the whole shebang, it's not just the clutch but also the pedal, clutch assembly, etc. It's quite a few parts.... the type B pretty much only covers the clutch and maybe the clutch assembly (can't remember) but it's about half or LESS parts than all the parts used on the type A
so if you have a type A and you get a new clutch but still have the same pedal and assembly it might still give you problems, you would have to check the TSB to see what your VIN falls under.
