so how does it avoid the problem of heat soaking in stop and go traffic?

It still has the possibility of heatsoaking in traffic being under the hood and over the engine. However, once the car is moving it'll cool down MUCH faster and stay cool unlike the stock IC. We did multiple runs on the dyno, and the numbers stayed within 1-2WHP! The stock TMIC was loosing 10whp/10wtq with every run.

Thanks.

What is the difference between the 3 inch and the 3.5 inch units?
Why does the A/F readings go so crazy lean after 4500RPM? Isn't a 10:1 or 11:1 pretty lean?

I have heard the DIS is pretty good about monitoring the FI system.

Isn't this unit also going to nuke my warranty? I guess it might be worth it though....

10.1 and 11.1 are extremely rich. your car idles at 14.7 to 1. the first number is units of air per unit of fuel in layman's term, so the smaller ratio the richer you are. the nice thing about this unit from a warranty standpoint is the ability to swap back to the stock intercooler in a matter of minutes before even going to the dealer.

Is this unit easy to install or do I need to get a mechanic to do the deed, same question on the rear engine mount.

Thanks.

Thanks.

very easy to install with the proper handtools, no more than a half hour on the top mount and an hour at the most on the engine mount

the rear mount wasn't to bad on the reg 3 and i see no reason why it would change on the speed3... just be sure to have jack stands as it made it easier to use a jack to move the car back into the new mount instead of brute force... and a tm change out should be quick and painless

did you get your first order w/ review yet? :)

we had a few mazdaspeed3 customers order them last week, no feedback as of yet. our experience on the mazdaspeed6 tells us it will be great

dang.. so no discount. :)

I'll see what I can spend next paycheck. Should be able to pick this up. Any idea if there will be a front mount coming out anytime soon?

Once corksport makes one for a customer they'll probably keep the plans and make set ups for people after they have made one for a car. I've thought about buying their power series FMIC and having them make the piping and install it

This thread has nothing to do with Corksport's product.

i don't mind discussion of other products so much, however i would like the central focus of this thread to be on the performance of the TMIC we offer.
