It's actually the first time I say MSP6, I said it by accident, probably by seeing all the others write that.

i saw somethnig mentioned in one of the writeups about the colors of the ms6. no wild orange but something called like titanium II caught my attention...

New Body Color: Moist Silver Metallic

Moist Silver is a new color added for the Mazda6 MPS. True to its name, the color has an almost moist sheen to its finish that aims to reflect the lush, rich feel of Japanese nature. The color differs from the straightforward metallic silver used on the Mazda6 series by expressing the mystical ambience of elegant simplicity found where mist appears in Japanese ink paintings or in landscapes such as those seen along the shores of the Inland Sea of Japan. Just as the four seasons bring about unique changes, so does the subtle nuance of the Moist Silver Metallic body color when viewed from different angles or in different settings.

Colors also offered in select markets around the world include Snowflake White Pearl, Titanium Gray II Metallic, Velocity Red Mica, Radiant Ebony Mica, and Black Mica.

I dont know, ive seen alot of colors that they will be available in, but They all dont match up. Either different countries, or its all just messed up. Thinking about trading my MSP in for the MS6 in 2005 and keeping the BF's MSP still around.

i have been thinking about trading in my msp for something else...everythign from evo to g35 to an ms6 to an suv....but the spicy orange is what keeps me

im confident if i traded it for anything else i would regret it because the color wouldnt be nearly as kickass

See how all the different places have different some colors listed? Whats up with that, I just want to know what colors will be offered in the US so i can put a frikin deposit down on one..

Triple Zoom:
Snowflake White Pearl, Titanium Gray II Metallic, Velocity Red Mica, Radiant Ebony Mica, and Black Mica
Mazda6Tech:
Liquid Platinum Metallic, Black Mica, Titanium Grey Metallic, Whitewate Pearl Mica, Red Mica, Black Cherry Mica
"official" (maybe) Press release
Colours to be offered (not all colors will be available for all markets):
- Snowflake White Pearl (e.g. '05 RX-8)
- Titanium Gray II Metallic (e.g. Mazda3 and RX-8)
- Velocity Red Mica (e.g. Mazda3 and RX-8)
- Radiant Ebony Mica
- Black Mica
- Moist Silver Metallic

yea I really wish they really offered it in the orange too. No questions asked, I would have that car.

They are all the same to me :)

i guess the only question is which colors in which countries. they all seem to point ot certain colors only available in certain places but none of them appear to claim which will be where

The naming of colors is essentially marketing - different markets may use different names despite the actual color code being the same. Here are 2 Mazda examples:

- US-spec Mazda6 Lapis blue is identical to Canadian-spec Mazda6 Sonic blue
- US-spec Mazda6 Steel grey is identical to Canadian-spec Mazda6 Dark grey
- JDM Titanium Grey II is identical to the Titanium Grey in N. America spec

Given this - one can see that 2 of the three sources you listed above are identical (the first one is just missing a color - the silver). The last of your sources was a post from me - yes it is from an official Mazda press release, but as I clearly state, some colors may not be available for all markets. But none of the listed colors are related to orange, so your very right in looking for a color other than orange because this vehicle won't come in Orange (in any market). If you're really wanting to put down a deposit, I'm sure any dealer will take your deposit now and allow you to specify the color at a later date because at this point they don't even know what the final colors will be (and MazdaUSA may or may not tell you).

I didnt get that the "Ebony" was a deeper red or "cherry' mica color, now they all seem to make sense, I just wish someone would hurry and specify what goes where. When I put a deposit on my MSP I did choose a color first.

me too

i bet if you went in with a deposit though, since they dont know the colors yet they will say you have first right of refusal or whatever to the first MS6 they get, regardless of color. I put my deposit on orange but theys till have me first choice period and when the black one was their first one they had me come look and say yes or no. i said no and it went to the 2nd person in line

my deposit was refundable too in case the colors that come out arent to your liking. Im not very seriously considering getting an ms6 since i dont think i could part with my msp but I was thinking of putting down a deposit anyways just so I have the option when they first come out
