There's a guy in my town who has sunk something like $30k into his automatic OZ lancer, claims to be the fastest fwd automatic in the south (who ******* cares?). Anyway, I think this guys an idiot, but his sister (also an idiot) drove and blew up 3 Mazda speed protgs, so he considers himself a Mazda expert. He claims that the first time they fielded the msp in race trim it was a 1.8 and it was so fast the Scca told them to change the engine. I don't even remember anyone having a squad of msp race cars, I know tri point used the 6 back then. Is this total nonsense or do I owe dude an apology?
