its 5 x 100
Standard Mazda bolt pattern is 5x114.3
oh s***, 5 x 100 fits to tho im assuming then?
yeah the wheels that cobb has on there car has a 52 mm and still has the fenders flared inward. im gonna start with some 235s on my stock wheel and see how decent the traction is
With a wider wheel your options open up for some nice sticky tires. Go 18/8. I have forty five offset on 225/40 with stage two suspension subbed Hotchkis on the bars. seriously adifferent animal altogether. Very much a handler. Dynamics are improved, steering is heavier but high speed cornering and braking continue to impress me I cannot say enough good things about wheel/ tire suspnsion upgrde regardless of the ponies. As if the car was designed for it. I did pussy out on 235s for fear of rubbing rear fender with the lower springs, and 400 horse will need it with a softer compound tire should hook up. Good luck guysI went from a stock 215/45 to a 225/40 today actually and I'm interested to see how that changes the dynamics. I'd definitely get rid of the stock wheels somewhere in that equation, since they are a heavy wheel.
Bear in mind 255s will throw stones all over the side of your car no matter what offset you use. Maybe you could just run a dedicated slick for racing at the track and a softer 235 for DD?yeah the wheels that cobb has on there car has a 52 mm and still has the fenders flared inward. im gonna start with some 235s on my stock wheel and see how decent the traction is
