Mazdaspeed hood swap?

Hello all im new here im getting a 2010 mazda 3 soon with a five speed in black mica color, because i love mazdas and its one of the few new cars i can afford. Would it be possible to swap the 2010 mazdaspeed 3 hood onto this platform? in my opinion it would look sweet, but I dont know how easy it would be. Does anyone make hoods for the stock 3 that look like the speed's hood if this isnt possible?

He has a carbon Mazda 3 version in his store.

I contacted this seller and he says he supplies these hoods to Mazda(???). I was going to check them out in person later this month when I'm in Montreal.

The seller for that hood does indicate that the hood works for the speed model only and will not fit the regular 2010 3.

I'm not sure what the difference is between the hoods, but I had heard or read somewhere that the front fenders and hood were different than the standard 3 (and not just because of the scoop on the hood).

are the speed 3 grills still separate from the hood?

You got to be careful throwing on a carbon fiber hood on any car. i had a VIS Carbon fiber hood and after one year i was already seeing some dulling of the clear coat. not to mention they are really fragile. then again thats really a pro/con due to how light weight. whenever you closed the hood you would have to lay it down gentle and just press right on top of the latch. It was a sick look though so i guess it depends on the weather conditions where your at as well. Lots of sun = quicker dulling.
