Mazdaspeed B-Spec

:
1999 Mazda Protege "Sport20" FS-ZE swap
I just got my JDM Mazdaspeed B-Spec Linear Springs by Eibach and JDM A-Spec Mazdaspeed Adjustable Struts, woohoo!

F: 43.2N/mm
R: 37.3N/mm

That equates to:

F: 247lb/in
R: 213lb/in

In comparison, the stock Racing Beat springs on the Mazdaspeed Protege are:

F: 27.7N/mm
R: 20.6N/mm

Rear, compared w/ MSP Tokico's

There were no issues with any of the brake lines. I had a slight clunking that originated from my endlinks. I tightened them up, but then they loosened and I started hearing this horrible clunking noise going over bumps. Make sure they are torqued to spec!

Handling: holy ******* hell! I don't know how to describe how awesome this setup is. Take the Mazdaspeed Protege setup and multiply that by two and you will get a rough feel for this setup. I'm running on relatively crappy Kumho 711's and have not been able to break loose the tires yet! The car is very neutral and predictable. Body lean? Heh, none at all. Body dive in braking? Nothing.

In other words: everyone BUY IT NOW!

mmmm.....

i'm jealous. I'd like to be able to get those struts with the megan racing springs (slightly stiffer). Or coilovers.

you should get some falken RT-615s!!!
