All you have to do to adjust it 1. idle= loosing the spring until the car wants to stall, once you have it there you keep turning it quarter turn at a time till the car idles correctly. 2. release pressure = is set based on how much vac you want it to hold, hopefully you have a dash hawk to tell you, you want it to release between 15-20 hc that way you know it's adjusted correctly, also if it backfires between shifts then you'll have to tighten the tension on the spring by again quarter turns at a time. Just don't go crazy with the knob, otherwise its gonna be hard to get the adjustments right.

thanks man!! kinda got screwed. . i dont have a dashhawk so i guess its ajusting it to how the car is idiling!!! right now its good just a little backfiring

If your idle is good and you have backfiring then just give it another 1/2 turn, keep doing that until the back firing goes away, just remember 1/2 turns not crank the s*** out of it. Fine tuning will take care of your issues. Just be patient.

got it!! thanks man, i dont get backfiring a lot!! just like once and it will be from like second to third!! but thanks for the help

yeah i love it!! my friends give me blast because its not 100% recirculation but i mean i can change it so thats cool
