Camping was the plan, when I was going to go solo, but not with my 5 year-old son and 72 year-old dad!

Fortunately, Dad's willing to split/cover the hotel room.

Whoa, why so far South of the track?

because we're ******* cheap.

And it's by my place. The hotel they are staying at is near 2 malls, tons of restaurants, and we can have a mad BBQ at my apartment complex..... If I remember right, the BW in Braselton isn't near s***.

Edit: Oh yeah and the Mazda dealership is around the corner in case s*** happens... (I'm grabbing for ideas here...)

Just booked. I'm a cheap-ass as well so I'll be down in Duluth with all the other OH people.

We went with the "Comfort Inn & Suites Near Lake Lanier" in Buford, GA. About $85 a night, and 10 miles from the track.

For those just interested in cheap rooms, there is a Super 8 in Gainesville.
