argh argh I figured out why I can't invite myself to the chat. I'm on my windows (yuck) laptop while I'm back home for the week and trillian's "join chat room" thing is only for exchange #5 (public) rooms, and mazdachat seems to be exchange #4. In the second link above I have the exchange set to 4 but trillian still won't interpret it correctly.

Ok so I have an idea. I was reading up on the AIM URI system and there is a way I can encode a link that will invite people into the chat (and hopefully not transmit invites to people already in it). Maybe I'm the only one who can't get in (at least not with trillian on windows.. ) without being invited, but I seem to think others are having the same troubles.
With that in mind, I'm starting this list of people who want to be invited to the chat whenever someone in the chat clicks the invite link here (once I make it of course). I'll maintain the list and the link so just PM me if you want me to add you or take you off the list. I'm not even sure if this will work yet but we'll see.
