Offset is 45 and they are 19x7.5 , so i have plenty of space to put some 225/35 on it with my 2" drop. They should look like this on my Cantine

i would think at stock height, 18x8 +45 would be fine. and, a 225/40-18 is almost exactly the same diameter as the stock tire.

Go ahead with this project. And don't forget to post pics here

You will probably rub a little bit when fully loaded and when passing over bumps on the road, but if you wanna make sure it not rubbing, just pay someone to roll your rear fender. No big deal. OEM Coil are smoother that aftermarkets performance parts, so if you plan to drop it a bit (1" approx.) then you probably don't need to roll your fender because your coil will be stiffer.

Not sure if this has been posted before, could not find...Does any know if 17" 2008 Miata rims with +55 offset and 205/50/17 tires will fit the 5?

i dont see why not. stock wheels are +52.5, and thats stock tire size.

Will the 07' oem ford fusion wheels will fit the 5? I think the offset is only 40. with tire 205/60/16. will their be any problem using this wheels? thanks

i dont see why not. stock wheels are +52.5, and thats stock tire size.

those "Should" fit fine, as long as there isnt anything weird with the spokes. I have protege ES wheels on our 5 for winter duty, and they fit just fine. the protege rims are 16x6 +50.

40mm is a little low for offset and with higher sidewall you might rub. I would arrange a test fit for sure. The rim will stick out of the fender for sure but will depends on rim width as well.
