Mazda5 sound deadening complete

Sorry, can't remember. Probably 1 pound though, because I was able to get it behind the door cards pretty easily.
Thanks! I was figuring/hoping just 1 lb should be effective after deadening and closed cell foam on the floors. Wheel arches next!

Can you share a link to the product? I'm only coming up with Butyl mat type solutions from Noico.

On a related note I scored a shitload of Thinsulate off FB Marketplace yesterday for $cheap. Is that suitable for under-carpet usage, or is that a moisture trapping concern?

You all have never driven Jeep products. Our new to us 5 is down right silent compared to our Jeep Patriot and Wrangler unlimited. I won't be messing with this for the 5, but I was thinking about it with the patriot. That thing was L O U D.

Home depot and Lowes sell window flashing rolls of "dynomat", only generic.
I usually paint everything with a gallon jug of bedliner and a brush. It sound deadens and keeps rust away when your rugs get wet. It is also a good time to put it in the inner fender steel parts.
If you put bedliner in the doors, put straws coated with wax in the drain holes at the bottom. Having a door bottom full of water sloshing around and soaking your feet kind ruins a day.

Oh good LORD no! Don't use that stuff, it STINKS. Like, really, really STINKS. It's made for outdoors, not indoors, and especially not inside of a closed space like a car!
