Sorry, can't remember. Probably 1 pound though, because I was able to get it behind the door cards pretty easily.About to do the the MLV step here... wondering if you can recall the rating, 1lb, 2lb, etc. that MLV was.
Never noticed a difference with the mileage. So added maybe 20-30 pounds. How much weight did this add to the car? Any difference in mileage?
Thanks! I was figuring/hoping just 1 lb should be effective after deadening and closed cell foam on the floors. Wheel arches next!Sorry, can't remember. Probably 1 pound though, because I was able to get it behind the door cards pretty easily.
NoicoWhat closed cell foam did you use?
Oh good LORD no! Don't use that stuff, it STINKS. Like, really, really STINKS. It's made for outdoors, not indoors, and especially not inside of a closed space like a car!Home depot and Lowes sell window flashing rolls of "dynomat", only generic.
I usually paint everything with a gallon jug of bedliner and a brush. It sound deadens and keeps rust away when your rugs get wet. It is also a good time to put it in the inner fender steel parts.
If you put bedliner in the doors, put straws coated with wax in the drain holes at the bottom. Having a door bottom full of water sloshing around and soaking your feet kind ruins a day.
