Mazda5 Rear lower control arm bump stop removal

Looking at the rubber bump stops that go onto the rear lower control arms right next to the springs. PN CG42-28-1B0, #14 in this pic:

What's the best way to remove these (for xfer to new arms)? Just stick a pry bar underneath and crank? Something else? I'm assuming mine are original, now with almost 160k miles on them; any danger of breaking them somehow?
