Those wheels look like my electric razor after shaving the dog. BLUE is NOT a good color for instruments, blue light is hard to see at night. The front looks crappy. That's the problem with updating models, the new thing always messes up the original concept.

I love the gauges!!! I still have swapping out all of the green l.e.d.'s for blue ones...I also like the exterior colr of the concept car that's pictured...Too bad we didn't get that choice in production

Then you never drove a recent VW. Blue totally owns! I just stopped counting the whoa I got when passengers got in my Jetta. It's the coolest set of gages I ever owned. But now back to ugly green in the 5 .

I was going to say the 'krauts have been doing the blue gauges for years and it looks AWESOME. I test drove one of the new GTIs and that was probably the coolest part of the whole car.

The washed out blue that is in Jimbo's avatar looks hard to read...but I guess that's where quality and color come into play.

...I think the mid 90s Honda Preludes have blue gauges too.

Never owned a newer VW then? THe blue is fantastic they way VW uses it. Red is the main color, but the blue is quite legible.
