Mazda3 OEM wheels on Mazda5

Hello everyone.

I am new to the forum so I am not sure if someone already have asked this question previously (if there was, my apologies), but here goes.

I want to know if 2007 Mazda3 17" OEM stock alloy wheels will fit on 2007 Mazda5. I have set of 205/50/17 Bridgestone Blizzaks for winter use and I want to purchase second set of used wheels so I don't have to demount/mount twice a year between my four season and snow tires. So far I don't see any issues and it looks like it will be a good fit (both 17x6.5, 5 lugs similar bolt pattern 4.5 inch or 114~115 mm).

The links you posted are already shortened- they won't work.

But yes, Mazda3 wheels will work fine on a Mazda5. They 17s have the same width (6.5) and offset (+52.5mm).

You're welcome. Yeah, that 3 wheel is a 17x6.5 +52.5, the exact same as the wheel you have right now. You can always remove it and check the stampings on the back of the wheel spokes/hub too to be absolutely sure. Just for comparison, I'll throw up the pictures of my setup. The first pic is stock at 17x6.5 +52.5 wearing 205/50 tires, the second pic is the 2010 MX-5 wheel at 17x7.0 +55 wearing 215/50 tires. The MX-5 wheels fit just fine, even though the inner sidewall of the front tires is REALLY close to the strut housing- I'm talking under a finger thickness. I haven't had any rubbing issues though, and if you're running stock tires on the 3 wheels, you would have the same clearance as factory on your 5.

That's awesome. Yes I will be using 205/50/17 stock size tires.
I thought the stock size was 205/55/16 but somehow mine has 205/50/17. I guess it was an optional wheels and tires.

Thanks! Some of the MZ5 years were available with 205/55-16 from the factory.

I've seen a 2012 down here in Texas wearing 205/55-16.
