mazda speeds in stock

I am a master tech at comunity mazda `and we have two black speed cars in stock we are a registered speed dealer and are located in oak forest Il just south of chicago if any one has any questions on purchasing a speed car please reply here with a message and I can have a great salesperson contact u.

I have a question for you MSTR TECH.
What do all the MSP owners have to do to have Mazda Co. recognize the "clunk" issue as an official problem so it gets permenantly fixed? If you're unfamiliar with the "clunk" problem that everyone is having, do a search. It was also a problem with the MP3. Everyone is tired of the "bandaid" affect where the dealer just replaces the bushings and then the problem returns within another 1000 miles. We'd seriously like your opinions and or comments. This is assuming you are a certified and work for Mazda. THANKS!

First of all at the dealer level I have no contol over quality of parts sent to the dealer all I can do is b**** to technical services.Secondly mazda does not manufacture the sway bars or the bushings they are manufactured by an out side vendor. So if u still have a b**** u can take it up with mazda not the dealers fault.

And by the way I have probably forgotten more about mazdas than u will ever know about them.So dont be questioning my certification.

dude, that may be true, but as anyone posting on any board knows, any nutjob can start spouting off about being an expert and give themselves such an ID.

if your "certification" is the real-deal, it will become obvious by your replies; likewise if you're bogus, but merely claiming it doesn't prove anything.

this guy is definitely right-on with this response though - wth does anyone really think the dealer has to do with this? nodda.

All Right all right.

Listen everyone cut this s*** out. YOu finanaly have a Mazda tech as a member of the board and now you instantly start to s*** on him. Thats not helping our cuase any here.

MAZDA MSTR TECH

Welcome to the boards and sorry for the BS. Everyone is riding on high tension these days becuase of several known issues that are messing with alot of people and many of us have been through several dealers with no help at all.

Also your location says Oak forest but what state is that in?
It might help to get some replies to the original post.

Are you a protege owner?
Just wondering, obviousl;y you can be a great assest to many of us here with your knowledge of our cars and with Mazda's standard operating procedures.

Again, Welcome and Sorry.

lol

jeeze man, I'm with ya - just pointing out what should be obvious:

a mazda tech would be great here, nobody would dispute it.

he's right on the money with his defense of the dealer to those foolish enough to think that its somehow their fault.

and anyone can call themselves "mazda mstr tech" on a bb - the title & the claim are cause for neither adoration nor condemnation.

...of course, a "poser" wouldn't last long w/ this knowledgable crowd...

;-)

Be careufl with the helping offers, there are about 50 memebrs with the smane idle problem that no one can figure out and has baffeled numerous dealers.

HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING ON THIS IDLING PROBLEM AND HAVE HAD NO COMPLAINTS ON ANY IDLING PROBLEM BUT IF WE GET A CAR IM AND WE FIGURE SOMETHING OUT WILL BE SURE TO LET EVREYONE KNOW.

I'm a Mazda dealer on Staten Island, NY and I also have 2 Black Speeds in stock....In regards to what Mazda Mstr Tech has to say, he is 100% right in saying that as a Dealer we have no control of what parts are put on the cars and how they are made and stuff. We can give you guys plenty of insight on what might be coming out from Mazda and so on. Feel free to ask us any resonable questions.

Welcome DJSCIASCIA!

Glad to see both you guys getting going on our little comunity here.

For both of you the 2 problems plaquing the cars right now is:

1. Rear Busings on the MSP and the MP3 Proteges.
Basicly the rear bushings wear out do to Mazda down grading Racing beat original suspension design in production and now the upgraded suspension on these cars cuases the rear sway bar bushings to clunk since they loosen up. We have all been on a year long missin to try and get Mazda to get a real solution but so far the only thing they have done is issue a TSB to replace the bushings. Which, only stops the problem until the new ones wear out in 1000 miles.

2. Idle Problems are being observed on all types of proteges from MP3s with Turbos, ME :D, to totaly un-altered Protege 5s.
Basicly the problem is a return to idle one, where the cars idle will fall very low, all the way to 0 rpm, or stall all together when the car has the clutch held in on deceleration. Basicly the problem is made far worse when under load of heater and head lights.
I have noticed it most potent if the clutch is held to the floor right after acceleration, before engine braking. Also Exhuast leaks seem to make the problme worse.

Thanks guys. If you like I can give you several links to these problems that are scattered all over the board.
