there may be some truth in that statement. I remember reading a thread a long time ago about 1.8 liters having thicker rods than the 2.0??? so they can hold boost better than the 2.0. I don't remember if that was for the protege or not. It could have been for the Miata though. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

stronger rods or not a 1.8 wud need the extra psi jist to keep up with a 2.0.. if you put a 1.8 boostin the same as i am i will still work him.. simple math

FTW lol i actuall am on my 3rd turbo engine is good its the turbo that keeps goin out hah not to mention its been runnin 12psi+ for more the 40k miles

negative actually runnin a gt28 is safer and more efficient then runnin the t25.. thats where most people go wrong they turn up the boost on the lil turbo jist blowin hott ass air into there engine causin thee damage.. but honestly i won't go any higher then 14psi i fell i'm pushin the limit as it is.. but its possible

not ina long time i'm trryna get on one this weekend.. but i'm waitin cuz i have a bad o2 sensor thats causin hesitation. hopefully they'll be here by friday.. i shud be somewhere aroun 280whp. alot of my buddies think i'm already at 300 but i don't so.. but then again u never kno i doo pull the **** outta them n there at the 300 mark haha

I just sat here and looked at this picture wondering why you have all that room in the engine bay...where did you put your battery? I would love to move mine and attempt a wire tuck to get rid of all of the clutter in the MSP engine bay for that clean "JDM" look
