Well then you COULD say, GLC=323=Protege=Mazda3, but would it be true? They may all be the base, "bread and butter" Mazda models, but there is still the evolution to consider.

WoW! I can't believe a brand new car won this month.. Nothing against GeJay, But FrankenProbe should of won this month. I understand that some look for looks but its also about putting yourself in someone else's shoes and understanding what kind of work it would take to build such a car. Maybe some don't understand that because you might not of done such work before but I had my share of experience to know what kind of time and work it takes to build a car like that. I also understand that this is also a popularity contest (hence I don't run on my own forum). Hope FrankenProbe runs again next month.

there are no guidelines that define the "best" car. some people are into looks, performance, time spent, money spent, style, uniqueness, new, old, clean, or dirty! everyone votes based on the aspects that appeal to them most.

this definitely doesn't look like a popularity contest to me. the top three vote getters have 114, 37, and 322 post respectively. you can't be "popular" if no one knows you...

For what it's worth, I think it should be a 3-way tie between Gejay, FrankenProbe and you!! I like your 7 as much as the other two, but have been following Gejay's car for a few weeks now. I'm not sure it's as much about popularity as it is familiarity. Either way, and for me at least, it was a tough choice.

FP's 323 reminds me very much of an ex-girlfriend's car... obviously w/o the engine swap and other mods. That car, even in stock form was a blast to drive, so I do have a soft spot in my automotive heart for these. I can only imagine how his drives and handles.

edit: Oh, and BTW, keep in mind too that if you (or anyone else) don't win this month you can always reapply for next month's MOTM.

Congrats to Gejay... but I don't know how... I do know the winner of this month wouldn't even get featured on the last page's "readers' rides". Not that I am hating on him/his car but it's the fact the amount of work done to the other cars are way more technical than just painted stock wheels, lowered and snapped on a lip.
