does anyone know of a reliable mechanic in houston that specializes on mazdas? or imports? i need alot of work done in the next couple of weeks...this would help me out alot!

its an 2002 Protege5 and no after market, been having trouble with engine idling and takeoff, and it needs alot of preventive maintenance on the cooling system, ac, intake...amongst other thngs
theres another James (my name is james too) on here that is/was a mazda tech in clear lake. good guy. worked on my speed when i needed warranty work. only guy i wanted to. he is rarely on here but i bet if you PM'd hellcat (carl) he could tell you how to get ahold of the guy. could also see if DiscreetSpeed (Maurice) would be up for it. He's taken a protege apart plenty of times.

It has been awhile since I been on here. Im still around, no longer a tech but still do car stuff on the weekends when I have the free time. Had a baby so don't get much time to play online.
