Okay, so a couple years back we had a REALLY good turnout inspite of the rain all the way, a good sized bunch of us caravan'd it up across the boarder. I'm not too sure I'll be able to swing it with work thsi year, but Heads up to everyone. August 12th, saturday, BIG BIG meet.

We are currently planning to attend. Not sure what we will be driving though.
Anyone leaving from Portland/Vancouver interested in caravaning or meet up with some of you guys around Seattle?
 
Man I wish I could go but I already signed/paid up for a track day that day plus I was gone all last week so no go taking anytime off of work.
 
i just noticed...the black MSP in that pic Poseur posted is mine....man, how much things change. can't believe it's been 2 years.
 
Pretty wild, eH Mike? back from when you were trying to keep things stock... ;) and I wasn't trying, but succeded very nicely it appears. Hell that's even pre-carputer for me.

Guys, if you haven't been, you really should figure a way to go, our meets are tiny, this is BIG. Plus the canucks are an overwhelmingly plesant crew. I'm juggling scheduling with work, and trying to make this happen, but truely it's not looking too promising for me. I missed last year as well, blah. Really if you're on the fence, go. If it turns out to be lame, you can personally come kick me in the balls.

Yeah. But hey, if I didn't get this fiberglass kit, my whole front end would be mangled. So maybe it's a good thing the body isn't stock anymore?

I'd go, but not without a front bumper. Besides, I remember what happened during the drive up that time..."OMG, there's a crack in my windshield...wait....there's TWO!!! And they're getting longer?!? WTF?!?"
 
I got major drama coming back down last time....

They had drug dogs all in my car... I was surprised I didn't get the old "bend over and cough" test.

Yep, right there behind crooz who's radio banter just about got us all stripsearched... "Wow that guy was a total ***** comes across the talkabout" right as I pull up to the booth.
 
I'll try and get a day off for this, but my car is plain stock though, but f* it, it's all good. besides most of my money is going to fund my school projects for the vehicle research institute. haha anyway, put me down for it. But ya if anyone wants to give me temp. parts for the day, i wouldn't mind haahah (drinks)..... I know..... i'm still alive. Almost killed myself last year... damn rotary....

im gonna talk to the wife and we'll see if i can make it up. i already have another roadtrip planned for aug 23-28, so im not sure since gas prices are killer (i spent ~200 just on gas for the mt st helens cruise). hopefully i'll be there tho, since i had to miss excelerator...
 
hope to see a bunch of you guys too! a friend and i are planning to be there, and i have a feeling we'll be the only contingent representing alberta...

it would be nice to finally put faces (and cars) to names on the forum :)
 
ID is all you need. I have to get a Birth Certificate for my daughter or they won't let her in.
 
yep, id should be all you need. bring your driver's and birth certificate and you should be good to go. :)
