Mazda has frozen sales/installation of MS CAI

From my dealer.....Mazda has sent out a message to stop all OTC sales of '06-'07 MS6 and '07-'08 MS3 CAI's and stop installation of the intake in their shops. No explanation as to why but the dealer suspected it was due to the the rare but potential hydro-lock issue.

Its all good..there is a rather long thread on it already..I think they discontinued sales on 3-14 IIRC.
Check in the MS3 forum..It might be there.

Well I got one installed when i bought my 08, but it is covered under warranty since it was dealer installed. What issues will it cause? i can't see where an intake would create a dangerously lean condition.
