Mazdaspeed, comes in "exclusive colors"....one being Titanium

So the 3,miata, and rx-8 come out in titanium

and now the DAMN MPV!

I walked into the showroom last week, and I almost s*** my pants.

I bought the mp3, they stuck the laser blue on everything from a damn LX to a P5/ES!!!! God damn SOB's

I buy the Titanium. I realized the Mazda 3 was probably going to be coming out in Ti. But the DAMN MPV!!!

I bought my Titanium for the same reasons -- I'd never seen a color like it before, it looked ******' awesome, and it was supposed to be an 'exclusive' and 'unique' color. I guess Mazda just meant 'exclusive' and 'unique' for about six months or so ..

But maybe we can take some comfort in knowing that no Mazda3 or MPV will ever come anywhere CLOSE to lookin' as good as a glossed-up Titanium MSP.

kind of how I felt when I was driving my '99 Si and started tp see the Electron Pearl Blue CRV's driving around... put yourself in their shoes, they see the ability to sell cars b/c of the color and do something about it. Marketing 101 at it's best. Now if they made the orange MPV, that'd be different?!

Just get a custom paint job and call it a day...like neon green. I don't really care if the colors are shared, the look of our car PLUS the color is what makes it awesome, a laser blue MPV is still nothing...And actually someone on this board ahem, john (goku) loves a certain Gen of the MPV so you might make him mad hehe.

Just look at Mica Black that color is on just about everything.

at least the paint is going to be *more* available if you need to repaint or touch-up.

What about the puke blue that honda used on the Pilots for 2k3 (when ever I saw one come down the line, I got sick..)

To some people colour is a very big thing, look @ the Mary Kay Caddy's, they are a pinkish colour. Why? for makeup!! The Vanity..

Be it, a colour does interpret a person's personality to an extent, like yellow wants to show off, and so on (not always true, just a generalization).

Silver is one of the most common colours (also ugly, but that's me..)

A car has personality, I love my car, but ended up with my second choice in colours, Midnight Blue was my first, but got scared away cause I had a dark coloured car before, and when it got scratched, it showed, big time..

lets not forget, mazda isnt the only companies that make cars. when i was at the auto show, all of the companies had their 'new' color lines for 2004. the most common 'new' colors were the equivalent of laser blue and titanium.

also, for you spicy orange people, there are other companies slapping bright orange ontheir cars. everything from elements to muranos to mazda3's. no color can ever be 'exclusive' because if it sells, it will be all over everything. thats just the way it is

Yeah but that Orange is just crap next to the Spicy. Besides it a Scion nuff said Mazda is the only one to get the Atomic Popsicle effect dead on.
