Mazda didn't pay for my rental!

The dealer says they paid. Haven't called Hertz yet but I think I'm all set. If the first person I talked to at Mazda was as helpful as the second person I talked to it would have saved me some aggravation. My hair's thin enough as it is!

Yeah, as long as their check doesn't bounce. Waiting to see what happens to the dealer, if they don't re-open under a new owner I'm thinking of selling my Mz6 and getting an Accord coupe or Toyota Solara. My wife loves the 5 so we'll keep that for a while anyway.

Try Bankruptcy. Or, better yet, just close the store and liquidate the assets. That's what it sounds like they're heading toward. Then it's still possible to get reimbursed, but not for less than somewhere between twice and tewnty times the cost of the rental car.

Dont pay and conatact a lawyer...contact the dealer 1st and ask politely for them to re-emburse you for your rental. if not threaten to contact a lawyer because its total BS.

Please tell me you didn't pay that bill. You should not give the rental company a dime. That bill is up to Mazda, or the dealer. If you pay it, it signifys your acceptance of responsibility. Let it hang, Mazda will pick it up.
