For all of you who live near Santa Clarita and are in need of Mazda dealer I have nothing but good words for Galpin Ford/Mazda and their service advisor Vanessa... I wish all dealers had service depts as this one...not a single extra mile of needless "test drives", no scratches nicks or do overs on any of the service, no having to call dealer 101 times asking for status or arguing with service people who have no clues on possible tsb's etc... hell the car came with a courtesy wash but bird had crapped on the hood while I was paying for service... car was rewashed no questions asked and without me having to ask.... by far equal to or better than the service Ive received at "luxury" brand dealers...
No I dont work for this dealer and have no financial incentive... its actually rare for me to praise a dealer as I think good service is part of their job but when its consistent, painless, and above and beyond it merrits mentioning...note car was washed 5 minutes before they closed - most dealers would have said: what bad luck.. bird crapped on your just washed car
Oh ya I have a new fuel pump... and the seat of my pants gauge says it has more pep but in reality all Ive really noticed is no hesitation in higher gears in 2k-3K rpm range - stomp you go vs the stomp, let me think, ok go as before... weird thing is I notice a little lope during the first 5 minutes but I think the reflash slightly lowered the idle rpm or it was getting used to a clean air filter....
