Mazda CX5 not fuel efficient !

Hi Friends,

I bought Mazda CX-5, 2.5L, AWD, 1 month back.

My trip fuel economy sown in the LCD screen is 13L/100 ! Which is a big disappointment. Is this the case with Brand new car ? Do I have to give it some time ? Or do I have to contact the dealer ? Any help much appreciated !!
