And I have experienced SCBS, when my garage door was not all the way up and I was driving in. Car SLAMS on the brakes and you stop immediately wondering what you hit.

Exactly the same here - I've triggered it at least 3 times this way when coming up the driveway. I'm pulling in gauging the speed of the door going up, but the laser doesn't know that. It is always a surprise when it happens. At least I know it works!
