How has Mazda cont'd to impress you? My latest is receiving a free bottle of touch up paint in the mail... holy cow who does that? Put a smile to my day thats for sure.

Mazda just had a grand opening of their new Dealership that opened in my area today. Very cool setup. Indoor wind tunnel type thing with an MX-5 sitting on on and an RX-8 on like a 20 ft. indoor jack so you could check out the running gear. Wife and I test drove a 6s with no hassle. I'll be going back next month to test drive an MS3. I just like mazdas style.

The clean/clever Mazda Zoom-Zoom they inject to every single model impresses me the most, seconded by the exhaust recall handling (Yeah, I was so pissed off at the beginning of the problem, but then they made up well for the initial mishaps).

I also got the touch up paint bottle, but for the price range of my car I honestly don't expect too much from them, really (except to ensure the car lasts long with no major bruhahas :D).

Now, I would also wish more focus in the Mazda5 marketing, but I think the market is also to blame, not just Mazda. Point in case: if I had a Mazda3 I would be tired of seeing its marketing everywhere all day.

I didn't receive any touch up paint but, personally, I wouldn't see that as a plus. I'd see that as a...."Why they sending me touch up paint so soon? Are they expecting it to chip fast?"

As much as I loved my P5 when I had it, it had problems in the paint area. It was chipping like crazy and the paint started peeling off in 2-3 spots before it was even a year old. I had many problems with them trying to get it fixed.

But I'm over that now. I love the Mazda feeling anyways and the way theirs cars handle. The thing I like the most is feeling like your in a high end car when you're in the most basic model they have. (first)

I got my touch-up paint last week too. Nice gesture.

Overall I am impressed with Mazda and my Mazda dealer.

My Mazda dealer even goes as far as holding a catered buffet dinner for all of it's recent buyers.

nice, I think a monthly BBQ for prior month's customers would be cool too. Mine has been really great about washing ours thoroughly lately... been lotta road construction n tar is a mutha on white paint. I think all Idaho customers should get a lifetime supply of paint, we got rock chips like crazy here and truck drivers are the most ignorant SOBs when it comes to cleaning their rigs before hittin the hwy. (gun)

Yeah, the rock chips and broken windshields are just ridiculous here.

I liked the dealer's performance in Twin Falls with our recall. They actually had the parts in stock so that we didn't waste the 2-hr. trip there, and then they washed the car thoroughly. It was very nice.

ya we're happy with Team Mazda in Caldwell... despite the drive. Haha yeah we've had the car for 6mos and had to replace the windshield... and the new one got a chip within 2wks got it filled....

How long after you bought your 5 did you receive the touch up paint? I bought my 08 Stormy Blue Mica about a month ago and already have a really nice chip on the hood...
