Mazda Axela Transmission

Hi there,

I am looking to purchase a 2005 Mazda Axela, 100K on the clock. Drives a dream and both interior and exterior are mint.

Under the hood it appears that the transmission (well I think it is) is a bit rusty/dirty

Have attached a few photos, if I could get any feedback/thoughts as to whether this is normal that would be much appreciated.

It looks like it could have been a bit of coolant that leaked, or was "spraying" around that area.

Are you in Japan btw?
