Mazda accessory knob in piano black?

Like many of you, the aluminum ring atop my shift knob has several scratches already (******* ring-wearing valet drivers!). In any case, aside from the soft aluminum, I love the shape/weight of the stock knob, but the scratches eat away at me at night. So I turned to my good friend Google and here's what he found:




Obviously not this exact knob since it's for a 5-speed, but there is one in piano black that has the correct 6-speed pattern (reverse next to first). I was wondering if anyone has gone this route? Since I have an '08.5, it would match the piano black trim nicely.

It's pretty much between the above OEM knob or the AutoExe black CF. I've only seen scant pics around, would you mind throwing up a couple of close-ups, maybe hold up a quarter or something for comparison? I bought an HKS knob a while back that was way too small, and it's not like I have giant paws or anything.

yea i will do that 2morow morning if i can, so i can get it in the light and clear. the only downside to the autoexe, is that its so pretty and idont even want to shift hard and take of my ring whenever i drive.
