Mazda 6 Speed Mps

The car itself won't be at dealers in November, but from my sources, Mazda will introduce the MazdaSpeed6 at the '04 Paris international autoshow in late Sep (so we'll learn about N. American release dates, specifications, etc... at that time).
I would say to expect the N. American-spec Mazdaspeed6 to arrive at dealerships in spring or summer of calendar year 2005.

Summer of 05 means it'll be an 06, as sept/oct is usually when they release the new models. (Thus why the 05's are in production right now).
Btw there will most likely be...
1) Zero incentives. (initally)
2) No use of X, A, E, or S-plan. (initally, if not permently)
3) Dealer markups if the car even sells "slightly" well.
Mazdaspeed cars are LOW production, specialized vehicles. You have to WANT to get a mazdaspeed...its not like the other 30,000 produced mazda 6's you can just pick off a lot.
Quick production examples.
The first msprotege run was just 2000 cars. (Before the 2003.5's)
The total 1st yr mazdaspeed miata run is 4000 cars.
If you get any type of deal, its cause the dealer you bought from is an idiot. I'd expect to pay close to, if not higher than, MSRP if you want to buy one right when they come out.
Wait 6-8 months though, and they price will probably be a bit more sane.

The mazdaspeed6 is going to be a special order kind of car. You go to the mazdaspeed dealership and choose the color than they will ship to the dealer for you to pick up..

There will be 750 available for Canada next year.The final HP number I am being given by my sources is 276. Everyone thinks that since autoweek posted a spyshot...of the same photos that were posted in 2001, that its gonna be out in a few months...even though none of the dealers or mazdausa is aware of it, nor is it listed in the 05 releases (thought the mazdaspeed miata is).
Fall 05 is the earliest you'd see it (Making it an 06)...if it was coming out in springs, you'd see reviews and previews popping up already (as per mazdaspeed miata).
Anything else is just unproven rumors.
