Do you guys think that it will work in a 4-Lug taking the front disks to a machine shop?
So the msp rear brakes are the same size as the mazda 6? What about the mazdaspeed 6 brakes? Will they fit or no? I'm really not happy with the stopping power but I'm pretty sure my rear brake situation doesn't help any. Would I be better off going with the mazda 6 or msp rear brakes?
headin to a junkyard this week to pick up some calipers (may see if i can snag mz6 rims too) thanks to forzwin for all the great info!

Sure, I don't believe there is any difference in the backspacing. Are you really going to have your rotors re-drilled everytime they need replacement? I mean, I guess that is cheaper that buying new wheels and such. BTW, LOVE your car! I've always loved that color and it looks great with the MSP bodywork.
I would be VERY jealous if you came home with MZ6 wheels, I've been trying to find a set for cheap.
Oh snap! They even gave you the brackets? Mine didn't come with the e-brake brackets so I'm having to make my own. What year mz6 did they come off of? I should have my brackets finished tonight. Why the cross-drilled/slotted rotors?
Actually the SPEED6 Caliper go on the P5 awesome and you dont really get any problem that what i run on my protege and they look awesome
@ Installshield 2: Good stuff about the mazda6 rear pads being compatible in the msp! The 626 front calipers that PG sold you are the same as the MSP calipers. The MSP rear caliper is a bolt on affair, but they can be harder to find now and typically are pricey. The emergency brake lever on the mz6 caliper is completely different as it pulls up/down where as the msp caliper is in/out. Because of this you will need to get crafty with the brake lines. As of right now its looking like more trouble than its worth for most. For me though, I have $40 invested in both rear calipers, if I need to make an adapter bracket, and extend some cables, so be it.
