Mazda 5 HID's

Hello I am new to the forum and I live in Toronto, Ontario. I own a 2006 Black Mazda 5 GT. I would like to put in HID's but I have read that the DRL's cause a problem with the HID's as the are both the same bulb. Would installing a relay fix this problem? Has anyone installed HID's in their Mazda 5 with no problems? Thanks for reading my post and any advice is appreciated.

I have HIDs installed with relay. The trick is not connecting the ground from the kit to the socket, instead, find a good ground point in the body. I used the fender ground point on the driver side. But I lso believe you can do the same even without the harness, just do the same. Do not connect the ground wire from the kit to the oem socket but ground it instead to a good ground point. Some owners here have done it this way. I prefer using the harness as it will hive direct power from the battery.
