Mazda 5 air inlet

Hi bro,

Anyone can explain to me how the air intake of the mazda 5.

When i open up to change air filter, I observes that there is a air chamber vent on top of the air filter area, but is directed to the battery compartment instead.
So where is the air inlet to the filter.
Any kind soul can help?

The actual air inlet for the filter box is below the filter. It snorkels down into the area just behind the LF bumper . The item you are talking about directs cool air to the battery and ECU to help keep engine bay heat from getting too high around them while driving.
