if your dropping a new motor into a speed, i would drop in a FE3(FE DOHC) with the 2.2l SOHC crank, custom rods and pistons and you have a REAL 2.3l that loves to rev and can take 500HP daily without complaint. If you wanna keep it a 2.0 Stock rods can hold 400 and if you drop the comp a but the pistons might last too. PGT trans, clutch fywheel, starter with custom axles, mounts and a standalone :) with fries of course;)

I believe the new 2.3 motors are REAL 2.3L. But this is an interesting swap idea, I keep forgetting about that motor.

hehe i know, i was just joking. the highest ive seen a new 2.3 make n/a is 200WHP in scc with all the bolt ons from cosworth.im sure it could make a bit more, pretty decent for n/a, the MS6 crank and rods must be a nice direct fit. bet the awd trans could work too if you had a desire to spend money gutting your new car and cant wait for the ms3.wonder if the fuel tank fits?
