Mazda 3 power steering recall

still waiting on the second letter for my mazda5.

Hi guys,
I just got my power steering pump replaced as per the recall. Took maybe half a day. According to the receipt I got a remanufactured pump. Kinda bummed about that but at least I don't have to worry about the original one going out, which I've heard is becoming somewhat common. Anyone else have this done yet?

i should call around and see if anyone even has the parts... or have ordered them, or something. i am starting to think it is a myth.
