Mazda 3 Noise

Hello, I am wondering if anyone one else has experienced the following and/or

might have an idea as to what the cause of this issue might be.

I recently bought a Mazda 3 GS 2009 (4 speed AUTOMATIC), and about 2 weeks of driving

I started to hear noises. At first, it was a once or twice a week.

Now it's like at least once or twice (if not more) a day...

The sound I am talking about is like a "criiick" noise when I go from Neutral to DRIVE or

REVERSE...after about 1 or 1.5 seconds after I shift from "N" to "R" or "D"...

it makes that noise...mostly going into "R"...The Transmission fluid is full and

the car drives normally...no real issue there...I don't know what is causing that noise

One night the noise was really noticeable...louder than usual...

Is this normal for Mazda 3's? Has anyone else experienced this?

Also, when I turned the steering wheel (Left or Right) at low speeds,

I hear a little whining noise (almost like a cat miaowing)...Any ideas here?

Please let me know your thoughts, ideas, etc....thank you.

Cheers,

tgenerl.

its an 09 bring that s*** back for warranty work!!! if it does it every time you use the gear selector then it should be easily repeatable for the service dept.

i have an 07 3i 5 speed.
my clicks almost like a switch but its been happening for ever sall good.
kinda annoying yes but w.e

the miawww noise is because of the hydroelectric powersteering pump, youre hearing the electric motor running. the noise during shifting could be the solenoid actuating, but it should barely be noticeable. take it to the dealer. they wont charge u to diagnose it.
