Mazda 3 Ipod cable

I have a South African version Mazda 3, 5 door.I have seen the Autoware302 cable for ipod connection.I removed my standard cd changer and noticed that there is'nt only a connection for the yellow RCA jack.
Will the cable still work or is there something else I need?

There is no direct audio input on the back of the HU. There are several modules available which will input audio to the HU, plus there are ipod integration modules available which will charge the ipod and let you control it from the stereo controls.
