I am not so about that, I have an 07 and was in contact with Racing Beat when they were in the process of designing their new exhaust for the 07-09 and they said that there are two different exhaust systems that mazda started using in 07. One of the exhaust systems is a one piece design from the exhaust manifold all the way to the exhaust tip and the other is a more traditional design which has the seperation flange like a traditional cat-back exhaust. From the links they sent me the exhausts look very different. Look at RacingBeats web site and it should tell you which exhaust you have based on what it looks like.
