that's pretty much right on.
we CAN change exhaust cams, Cosworth, Crane, Crower...they all have em. but the question is what would work best with the VVT? some would help before VVT kicks in i'd guess, some would be best suited for high end when they can scavange a bit more with more duration (or maybe lift?).
some have talked about locking the VVT control so you can change it (hellow CEL) and Microtech is coming out with an ecu that can take control of the VVT, so that might allow from some cam swaps if you can control VVT. there are 3 points essentially i understand, 0-15-30 as far as timing adjustments, so you don't have to worry about incriments in between....but dyno time would be a MUST to get the most out of it.
