Well, after much debate and staring at my STi, Katana, JL 1000/1 and 12 W6V2's I decided to keep everything.

However to do this I had to sell my soul to the devil. Thats right, I applied at Circuit City and Best But (boom02). I applied at the nashua stores for the car audio or install departments.

I would have applied at tweeter again but I am probably not welcome until the regional car audio manager moves on (lick)

Any suggestions on what I should ask for hourly?
I was thinking $15

Glad to hear you get tokeep all of your toys man, that's first and foremost...

As for working for "the man" atleast the man pays well. (Or at least we're hoping) Good luck with it all, I've got no clue on the pay thing, but that sounds reasonable.

for a second job i would think more like 12$ or so, it would be hard to get 15 an hour for part time hours (i have tried and the few that i have had have been around 10-13) you could always try a temp agency and ask for part time hours, they have helped me out in the past and the jobs are usually tit!!!.... or maybe you are the man and they will start throwin money at you??

its not his only job, its a side job to help pay for toys..

Actualy its to buy a house because I spend all my house money on toys :D

Suprise turn of events though. I talked to my old manager at tweeter to ask if he minded if I used him as a reference. Long story short, he told me to come back to work for tweeter. Didn't expect that. So that might be an option, if they can come correct with the pay check. THe problem with tweeter is that I will actualy be tempted to spend all of my earnings.

Still doesn't help :) Unless you have your account made so it doesn't let you get to the money or something, lol. Staring at toys all day makes you want to buy them :D

dude, aren't you certified. you shouldn't be making any less than like $22/hr. but for places lik CC or BB, maybe ask $18/hr at minimum

best buy sux dont ever work there they pay about $10 for installers. Get a job a hhgregg comission is good there.

There isn't a non-chain audio shop you can apply to. I think your kickpanels would make a great resume.

No way. No one makes even close to that around here. Especialy with a basic MECP certs. About the only ones that can take in close to that are the guys at sound in motion and perhaps kenyon Lee in the BU tweeter.

I have had really bad dealings with most of them as a customer so I certainly don't want to be an employee. I am going to ask the near by Boomer Mclouds though.

best buy pays peanuts my husband had to get a part time job for our toys and he has a B.A and certs and they only paid him $12 for part time. Good Luck with your hunt.

Sorry to hear it man. I would stay away from circuti city htough, they have basically s*** for product. A couple decent audiobahn subs, a couple nice pioneer head units, maybe a few alpine pieces every once in a while, and of course the infinity speakers. But all their really good stuff (alpine, mtx) is gone, at least at the stores around here.

Good luck getting it worked out with tweeter.
