I would be interested if you are still taking valve covers back. I know you said you want to be done doing this. Was the entire cover sandblasted or just the top.

Also this is the valve cover for the 2.0L engine right.

All Covers are media Blasted as needed, Each one is different. SOme get sent out for chemical stripping, if the work neeeded is too severe. All oil baffles are removed prior to blasting so no media is trapped in the cover, and after its all done I reinstall the baffles properly.
