Matte Black MSP

:
2008 Mazda MX-5 5MT PRHT
So the idea has been thrown around before by Terbow (as I've been told) and I want to see what my fellow MSPer's would say if I posted pics one day of my beloved Spicy decked out in Matte Black skin? Reason I ask is because I love the car and honestly, I love the color. However, I don't feel like repainting the entire car the stock color because I feel it'd be less costly (and possibly more sexy) to paint it a matte black color. I was thinking I might trim it in some Spicy orange goodness in hidden areas (like the valve cover, brake calipers, etc.

Honestly, if I wanted to do this, I would. I just wanna see what the peanut gallery would say.

Dont do it. The Spicy Orange is better. And i really like the matte black too. But, matte black< spicy orange.

it would be dumb to repaint it to a color that is either hit or miss. its been suggested to just do a vinyl wrap on the car and I think thats the best solution. That way if you hate it you can just pull the vinyl off and it wont be permanent.

Don't do it, as this color has been used only once and Mazda has no intention of ever using it again.

someone needs to photochop this so we can see what it would look like

i would SOOOOO love to do flat/satin black on my car, but i'm starting with a black mica. i have been thinking about it, since my car is getting a little rough in spots. i'm worried about the durability of it on a north east car driven year round...

ive thought of painting mine flat black for a while now......or cwp

but i always come back to how much i love this color even if it is the most common
