what is 7th generation connect?

It's the infotainment system in the 7th generation Mazda's.
But I was pointed out on another forum that 7th generation Mazdas are also sold in North America and Canada which are equipped with the previous infotainment system MZD connect.

I got an email today saying there was a nav update out 3/21. Downloading it now on my aftermarket SD card. Toolbox works perfectly. This should be my last as my updates expire in May.

I wish I could help. No idea how they started coming to me. I didn't sign up anywhere.

I too would like to know how to get notifications for Telenav maps. For the previous gen HERE maps there was email signup.

I suppose the suggestion above is the best way. Just check the Mazda Toolbox a couple of times a year (or monthly if you really want them ASAP). If it's available, you will find out right away.
